Multiverse could harbour life

According to a new pair of studies in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, there's a decent chance that life-fostering planets could exist in a parallel universe - even if that universe were being torn apart by dark energy. He further added that just a small portion of the "baby universes" take birth so that they possess the adequate quantity of "dark energy", something that is required to support life.

Theories regarding dark energy that have been proposed previously suggest that our universe has the "perfect amount" of dark energy - a force which acts against gravity and is responsible for making the cosmos expand at an accelerated rate.

To reach this conclusion, the team used a huge computer simulation and finally showed that if there were other universes, they would probably have the same life.

"Our simulations show that even if there was much more dark energy, or even very little in the universe, then it would only have a minimal effect on star and planet formation, raising the prospect that life could exist throughout the multiverse", said co-author Jaime Salcido, a researcher at Durham University's Institute for Computational Cosmology, in a press release. And they find out that Dark energy plays an important role to form such conditions.

" I believe we must be searching for a brand-new law of physics to discuss this unusual residential or commercial property of our Universe, and the multiverse theory does little to rescue physicists' pain.".

As mentioned above, the team managed to arrive at these conclusions using a sophisticated computer simulation - specifically the EAGLE (Evolution and Assembly of Galaxies and their Environments) projects.

The fashion retailer has also pulled the product off its shelves in China and destroyed the shirts, a statement on its Weibo read. It also added that it would implement more rigorous reviews to ensure the same thing would not happen again.

The concept of our universe being one among many others has interested many scientists to debate on it.

In their research, dark energy (opposite of gravity) appeared as a crucial factor.

The main theory about dark energy is that our universe was created by a short burst, and this explosion made it expand rapidly.

Some recommended this implied that, in some areas, deep space is still broadening and will continue to grow definitely.

The fact that the universe continues to expand means that it creates multiverses: an essentially endless supply of universes much like our own. These universes will be filled with Earth-like planets, society, and even Alien life that may be very similar to ours. But simulations seem to prove that this is not entirely correct.

This opens up the prospect that life could be possible throughout a wider range of other universes, if they exist, the researchers said.
