  • Giuliani 'Public opinion' will decide impeachment

In language that echoed that of his accusers and critics, President Donald Trump alleged on Twitter that special counsel Robert Mueller's investigative team was "MEDDLING" in the upcoming midterm elections and blamed Democrats for "Collusion".

The tweet appeared to be a reference to the fact that multiple lawyers on Mueller's team, before signing up for the assignment, contributed money to Democratic candidates, including Clinton.

"13 Angry Democrats, and all Dems if you include the people who worked for Obama for 8 years".

In announcing Comey's firing in 2017, the White House initially cited his handling of the Clinton email investigation, seizing on the FBI director's decision to divulge details of the probe to the public during her campaign against Trump.

Mueller is leading the probe into whether Russian Federation interfered in the 2016 presidential election with help from Trump campaign aides.

Mueller is main the probe into potential collusion between the Trump marketing campaign and Russian Federation.

Trump has frequently railed against the investigation, calling it a "witch hunt" and scrutinizing its cost.

During the campaign, Mr Trump claimed Mrs Clinton should have been prosecuted harshly for lax security in her government e-mail practices when she was Secretary of State.

In March 2017, renegade Russian MP Denis Voronenkov was shot and killed at the entrance of an upscale hotel in Kiev. Babchenko sparked a backlash in Russia for his comments in a 2016 Facebook post on a Russian military plane crash .

Trump also quoted conservative commentator Mollie Hemingway in another tweet in reference to his allegations that the Federal Bureau of Investigation spied on his presidential campaign in 2016. By default, that effort would have helped Trump, but Mueller is looking into whether Trump associates played a more an active role.

Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort has been indicted on multiple charges and is awaiting trial in Virginia.

Mueller was a REPUBLICAN when he received medals for his actions in the Vietnam war, while Trump won a "Yellow Heart" and "Bronze Bone Spur Star" for obtaining FIVE DEFERMENTS.

Giuliani's "lynching mob" comment drew criticism from Republican Sen.

"Giuliani can say whatever he wants and then he can say, 'And see how unfair it was, they didn't want to agree to that, they said they would and then they wouldn't'".

But with foreign and domestic key issues facing Trump and the nation, Trump noted that it is imperative that he "start focusing" his energy on those issues - even if Mueller's probe drags on for months. "He believes it is working, and he is genuinely upset about it". No matter how well WE do, they find fault. "They're only going to get one shot at him".

Giuliani did say that he thought Sessions was still capable of doing his job leading the Justice Department despite Trump's critiques.
