  • Forensic psychiatrist who worked on Jon Benet Ramsey case shot dead outside Arizona office

Phoenix police have been investigating the shooting and previously said they had no information on whether the killing was related to Pitt's work.

The suspect linked to the recent shooting deaths of four professionals, including a prominent forensic psychiatrist involved in the JonBenet Ramsey murder investigation, is believed to be in an Arizona motel on Monday as police officers surround the building.

Sharp, 48, and Anderson, 49, were shot Friday near First and 75th streets.

Law enforcement officials told ABC News on Sunday that one of the two paralegals actually crawled to a limo bus after being shot and alerted the driver, who called police. Late on Saturday, the authorities announced that the potential reward for tips leading to an arrest and conviction in the homicides had been increased to $21,000.

The next day, two female paralegals were fatally shot in the head at the law firm of Burt Feldman Grenier, just ten miles away in Scottsdate, the New York Times reports.

On Thursday, forensic psychiatrist Steven Pitt was gunned down outside of his Scottsdale office, police said.
