BlackBerry Key2 will make its official debut in NY on June 7, which is today.

BlackBerry, for the first time, has used dual camera setup on a smartphone.

Also of note about the keyboard is that it's got a new Speed Key that'll let you access your programmable shortcut keys without having to return to the home screen of your device.

"Security has never been so relevant and so important as today", Alain Lejeune, president of BlackBerry Mobile and senior vice-president, TCL communication, said in introducing the KEY2, the flagship smartphone replacing the KEYone.

Featuring an iconic BlackBerry physical keyboard and loaded with BlackBerry Limited's best security and privacy enhancements, this all-new BlackBerry smartphone packs a number of features that are firsts for any BlackBerry smartphone. The BlackBerry KEY2 will start at $649, and you can register for pre-order updates here. There's a new texture on the back of the device, a dark metal frame, and refreshed buttons. BlackBerry Key2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

Simona Halep sweeps aside Garbine Muguruza to reach French Open final
The second set was more of a test for Halep, who was ahead by a set and 3-0 before falling apart against Ostapenko a year ago. She improved to 3-0 against her longtime pal and Fed Cup teammate Keys, including their US Open final last September.

When Was the Last Washington, D.C. Sports Championship?
The Caps lead the best of seven series three games to one. "Obviously, this emotion is just unbelievable", Ovechkin said. The Vegas goaltender let it leak through his pads, and Eller was waiting behind him to score on the wide-open net.

No injuries from London hotel fire yet reported
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus searched the structure to see if anyone still was inside, the fire brigade said . Roads between Scotch Corner and Hyde Park Corner have been closed while emergency services deal with the blaze.

According to Blass, the BlackBerry KEY2 will cost £579 at launch, an increase of £70 over the KEYone.

On the BlackBerry KeyOne, each key was customizable, meaning you could set it up as a shortcut to access from your home screen. For example, the keyboard is 20% larger on the KEY2 when compared to the KEYone, which itself is a big deal for many. There's a dual tone LED flash and support for 4K video recording. But the unique feature is the Speed Key, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the keyboard. There are about 15 BlackBerry apps preloaded in total. On the front, the KEY2 comes with an 8-megapixel camera. The phone is backed by a 3,500mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 over USB Type-C.

Additionally, the device comes with Firefox Focus, a privacy browser by Mozilla that prevents web browsing sessions from being tracked.

Other than that, there's relatively little changed to Android 8.1 Oreo, though the BlackBerry Hub and BlackBerry Launcher are included. The Key2 will retail in silver and black, and while the fresh, simplified shape does the device a lot of favors, I expect the sleek and stealthy darker colorway to be a hit with the BlackBerry faithful.
