President Donald Trump lashed out at "very dishonest" and "weak" Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Saturday just hours after he told a reporter his relationships with G-7 leaders are the best they have been.

Trudeau on Saturday said the U.S., Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Japan figured out "consensus language" they could all agree to. Later, the document was made public.

Trump's tweets taking aim at the leader of a country that has always been a USA ally came after the President left the G7 summit in Canada to travel to Singapore ahead of a planned diplomatic meeting with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un.

Mr Trump, who initially appeared ready to endorse the communique, pulled out after firing off a series of angry tweets aimed at Canadian premier Justin Trudeau.

American tariffs are in response to Canada's tariffs of "270% on diary" delivered by the USA, he said.

On Friday, Mr Trump made a surprise call for Moscow to be readmitted but German Chancellor Angela Merkel said other members were against the idea.

In a statement, the Canadian government did not address Trump's tweets, saying 'we are focused on everything we accomplished here at the #G7 summit, ' spokesman Cameron Ahmad said.

The president's sharp comments came as he is now en route to Singapore for a highly anticipated meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, set to be held on Tuesday.

"I congratulate leaders of other countries for so crazily being able to make these trade deals so good for their countries", Trump said, while insisting that his relationships with Europe and Canada were "outstanding".

Late last month, the federal agency blocked reporters from several news outlets from attending a national summit where Pruitt was speaking.

"It's a little worse within North America - the underlying bargain was that United States neighbors would receive special treatment", Alden said in the same press call.

US President Donald Trump left Canada before the end of the G7 summit and even before the final wording of a joint statement had been agreed.

Mr Trump had already threatened to divide the G7, made up of the US, France, UK, Italy, Germany, Japan and Canada, when he suggested Russian Federation should be allowed to rejoin the group.

President Trump proposed a major shakeup of the world's economic order during a summit in Canada this week, suggesting the world's big economies drop all tariffs and market-distoring subsidies and go to a fully free system of trade.

"The United States has been taken advantage of for decades and decades and we can't do that anymore. They should let Russian Federation come back in because we should have Russian Federation at the negotiating table".

A day before Trump's call for Russian Federation to join economic talks, Macron delivered a sharp remark to Trump, saying that the remaining six countries of the G-7 "don't mind being six, if needs be".

The future of the G7: The leaders huddled late into the night on Friday and again on Saturday morning to find compromises palatable to all, especially on maintaining free trade and carefully managing trade disputes.

"Prime Minister Trudeau is being so indignant, bringing up the relationship that the USA and Canada had over the many years and all sorts of other things.but he doesn't bring up the fact that they charge us up to 300 percent on dairy - hurting our Farmers, killing our Agriculture!"
