  • What's this invite teasing for the next Galaxy phone

In the past couple of days, we have reported a lot about the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy Tab S4. The company has sent out invitations to Galaxy Unpacked 2018 in Brooklyn, New York, on August 9. The timeframe certainly lines up.

Samsung has also posted a teaser on its mobile Twitter feed, which reveals more of the S Pen.

The actual invite has a minimalistic feel to it and may very well be the first time we looked at an official photo of the Galaxy Note 9. Exact details are pretty thin at the moment, though one leaker called it "the biggest update" in the peripheral's history, for what that's worth.

Rumours have the phone featuring a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, much like the Galaxy S9.

Earlier this month a picture of a Note stylus was doing rounds on social media and the fact that the Note 9 itself recently cleared the FCC, transparently pointed towards the launch of the company's next flagship device.

One of the most persistent rumors about the upcoming phablet is that it will arrive a month earlier than when the Galaxy Note 8 was released a year ago.

The newly launched Galaxy J8 went on sale on Amazon.in for Rs.18,990. Flipkart has started teasing the launch of a device, which is expected to be a part of Samsung's Galaxy On-series. Also, we'll likely see a secondary 12MP telephoto sensor on the Note 9.

The invite also hints to different color options for the Galaxy Note's S Pen, which typically only comes in black. Galaxy Note 9 could likely come with faster wireless charging support and bundle a new wireless charging accessory. Naturally, as ever, it's going to be livestreamed and we'll have all the information as soon as Samsung lets us have it. The Exynos 9810 and Snapdragon 845 improve proficiency and join that with Samsung's battery change through its UI tweaking and you will have the capacity to get noteworthy battery life on the up and coming lead.
