Begum Kalsoom Nawaz wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif regains conscious after month's long coma confirmed her son Hussain here in London on Thursday.
"But I'm returning to Pakistan leaving my sick wife behind", he vowed.
"She (Kulsoom) has opened her eyes after exactly one month".
In reply to another question about placing the names of Mr Sharif and Ms Maryam on the ECL, he said the decision could only be taken when they arrived in Pakistan.
Maryam Nawaz also wrote on her Twitter account that her mother opened her eyes for a few seconds and we don't know either she recognized us or not but thanks to Almighty Allah that he has answered our prayers.
In a video message Friday reportedly from aboard his aircraft en route to Pakistan, Sharif said he was returning knowing he would be taken directly to prison. I am aware that I have been sentenced to 10 years [in prison] and I will be taken to a jail cell straight away.
According to Lahore's City Traffic Officer, the plan will be executed before the rally of the PML-N, while more than 200 wardens will be deputed to maintain the flow of the traffic.
Kulsoom Nawaz, whose health has been described as "highly critical" by doctors, has been undergoing treatment at the Harley Street Clinic in London.
Nawaz Sharif was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and fined eight million pounds in the Avenfield Reference case by an accountability court, which awarded seven years jail to Maryam besides a fine of two million pounds.
