‘That’s scary!’ - Jim Jordan explains explosive revelation from Peter Strzok testimony

Speaking to lawmakers in a public hearing on Thursday, the intelligence agent said his anti-Trump texts with Lisa Page - a former Federal Bureau of Investigation lawyer with whom he was having an affair - were "blunt", but that "not once in my 26 years of defending my nation did my personal opinions impact any official action I took". The talk show host let highlights of the Capitol Hill testimony provide the jokes for him.

FBI agent Peter Strzok said his anti-Trump text messages did not impact his work on the special counsel's Russian Federation investigation or the FBI probe into Hillary Clinton's email use in 2016.

That meant Justice Department investigators could access all their messages, including the ones in which they criticized Trump and appeared to discuss how they might use their powers to keep him from being elected.

As soon as the questions got underway, the hearing devolved into a partisan verbal brawl as House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte struggled to maintain control of the crowded hearing room, which contained more than 70 members between the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) even questioned Strzok's character. "You've embarrassed them, you've embarrassed yourself and I can't help but wonder when I see you looking with a little smirk - how many times did you look so innocent into your wife's eye and lie to her about Lisa Page?". In it, Strzok describes his reluctance to work on behalf of the special counsel, and that seemed to imply he didn't think there would be substantial findings of collusion between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign team.

Republicans have cited Page's and Strzok's messages as evidence about what they call bias inside federal law enforcement and that conspirators launched the Russian Federation investigation out of partisan animus.

Strzok implored Republicans to appreciate the context of his text, which was sent late at night, shortly after the Republican nominee had "insulted the immigrant family of a fallen war hero" (i.e., the family of Khizr Muazzam Khan, who spoke at the Democratic National Convention).

Alex Hales Ruled Out of ODI Series With Side Strain
England captain Eoin Morgan said his team will have to improve against Indian spinners if it has to bounce back in the series. England never got to grips with Kuldeep as he took apart their top order, initially claiming three for seven in two overs.

"I know they're having a lot of problems and their economy is collapsing". But the report said it found no evidence of political bias in the FBI's decision not to pursue criminal charges against Clinton.

"That is bias", Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said in a fiery opening statement.

Despite the president facing about a dozen allegations of sexual harassment - many of them allegedly occurring while Trump was in one of his three marriages - social conservatives in Congress have failed to take him to task at anywhere close to the level that Gohmert did Strzok.

On Thursday, Strzok said the message was written late at night after Trump's campaign comments disparaging a slain USA soldier. "But", he said, "the thought of exposing that information never crossed my mind".

"This investigation is not politically motivated", Strzok said. Gowdy said, pointing out the pro-Hillary bias among other members of the investigative team who weren't booted from it.

FBI Director Chris Wray says employees who were singled out for criticism in the report have been referred to internal disciplinary officials.
