The latest Twitter fit came after British diver Vern Unsworth, a volunteer who played a key role in organizing the rescue of 12 boys from a flooded Thai cave last week, called Musk's offer to save the boys using a "kid-size submarine" a "PR stunt", during an interviewwith CNN on Friday.
Elon took to Twitter to refute the claims that his mini-submarine was a PR stunt, and in one of the tweets - which has since been deleted - the Tesla boss referred to Unsworth as "pedo guy".
Asked by a Nine Network reporter if he was going to take legal action again Musk, Unsworth replied: "Yes, yes, it's not finished".
Elon Musk, a rich guy who thinks it's cool to call non-rich people pedophiles online without proof, may now be the target of legal action for doing shit like that.
He said he had not seen Unsworth - whom he dismissed as "this British expat guy who lives in Thailand" - during his brief guided tour of the cave system and suggested that, therefore, Unsworth had not actually participated in the rescue operation.
Mr Muskresponded by saying Mr Osotthanakorn had been "described inaccurately as "rescue chief" and was "not the subject matter expert".
Tesla shares closed at $310.10 United States before rising 1.9 per cent in after-hours trading.

Unsworth then said similar to the AFP.
He said he would make a video showing the mini-sub making it deep inside the cave "no problemo", adding: "Sorry pedo guy, you really did ask for it". "I have given vastly more to humanitarian causes". Musk responded to photos of the training session on Twitter, adding that his engineers were "also getting feedback from the British dive team on how to improve the design for future applications".
Given the pressure, Musk may want to reconsider his approach to dealing with his critics, said Bryan Reber, who teaches public relations at the University of Georgia.
