Nine people who have stayed at The Sands Resort since July have contracted the disease, according to the order signed Sunday afternoon by Jeffrey A. Meyers, the commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. They should also seek medical treatment if they've been in the Guildford area since August 21.

New Hampshire health officials issued an order to the Sands Resort in Hampton to take immediate steps to remediate the Legionella bacteria at the resort and notify guests of the bacteria.
