  • Doctor Who Series 11 Premiere Date Revealed

Not only that, but the show will be moving from its Saturday teatime slot to Sunday nights for the first time. Finally, the BBC has come out with the season 11 premiere date for the USA and the United Kingdom, and happily, it's not too far away.

The first full trailer for Doctor Who Season 11 was released at San Diego Comic-Con Comic-Con and it got Doctor Who fans quite excited.

And we also have the title of the premiere to theorise about: 'The Woman Who Fell To Earth'.

Doctor Who returns Sunday, Oct. 7 on BBC America.

The network's U.S. premiere will start at the same time as the United Kingdom debut on-air on Sunday, October 7th (time to be announced), followed by a special encore in its new regular primetime evening slot.

Jodie Whittaker is set to be the first female Doctor in Doctor Who history.

In the event of a new chemical attack, the Western powers might again react as they did in April, he said. Hundreds of thousands of civilians in the Idlib area have nowhere to flee.

Charlotte Moore, the BBC's director of content, added: "With Chris Chibnall at the helm and Jodie Whittaker's arrival as the new Doctor we are heralding a brand new era for the show and so it feels only right to give it a new home on Sunday nights at the heart of BBC One's autumn schedule".

Does this mean that we'll be getting more earth-bound adventures for our new Doctor?

Doctor Who will land the TARDIS back on telly on October 7, when Jodie Whittaker makes her debut in season 11. Chibnall had this to say about the show's upcoming premiere.

While Saturday nights are often seen as the showcase for some of TV's biggest shows, in recent years Sunday night programmes have often delivered some of the week's highest ratings.

She'll be joined by a whole team of new companions, made up of Graham (played by "The Chase" presenter Bradley Walsh), Yasmin and Ryan (portrayed by newcomers Mandip Gill and Tosin Cole).
