Brandon has two younger sisters who were also born in the same hospital.

The encounter between the two was shared on Facebook last August 16 by the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford.

The story of their reunion at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto has gone viral on social media. We all try to give our patients the best chance to grow up happy and healthy.

In 1990, nurse Vilma Wong, took care of premature baby named, Brandon Seminatore, now a second-year paediatric neurology resident at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Stanford, California. He had weighed in at just 2 pounds 6 ounces. As a two pound and six ounce baby, Seminatore spent 40 days in the unit. But unlike most babies, one day years later he returned.

The East Bay Times reports Sunday that long-time nurse Vilma Wong asked Seminatore who he was when she saw him standing near an incubator wearing blue scrubs.

Vilma Wong, a nurse at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, recently crossed paths with Brandon Seminatore, a medical resident at the hospital who's training to be a child neurologist. "I kept asking where he was from and he told me that he was from San Jose, California, and that, as a matter of fact, he was a premature baby born at our hospital", Wong told The Mercury News. When the doctor called his name,"it sounded very familiar, "said the nurse". His father texted back a photograph of Wong holding him as a baby. She asked the man about this personal detail - one of the few she remembered.

"As a nurse, it's kind of like your reward", Wong said.

Seminatore's mother had asked him to look for nurse name Vilma, who took care of him when he was a baby.

"They were the most wonderful nurses", said Laura Seminatore, who was a kindergarten teacher in 1990 when her only son was born and is now the principal at St. John Vianney Catholic school in San Jose.

His mother had urged him to find both nurses when he was on his month-long rotation at the hospital's NICU.

Seminatore had done a similar month-long stint in the unit a year ago without realizing the nurses from his infancy both still worked there. "They helped calm a lot of our fears".

"I was in shock initially but overjoyed to know that I took care of him nearly 30 years ago and now he's as a pediatric resident to the same population he was part of when he was born", she said. Wong, who is 54 now, isn't leaving any time soon. To his amazement, she was still working on the wards.

Wong has been a nurse in the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for 32 years.
