Olivia Newton-John Is Battling Cancer for the Third Time

"I've been great", she said at the time. But Olivia's battle was not over.

But despite her diagnosis, Olivia wants to remain positive about things, and refuses to feel sorry for herself. "Yeah, I feel really good".

"What we all thought she defeated is still there", he said.

In May of past year, however, Newton-John revealed the disease was back, and it actually spread to her shoulder.

That time, the actress chose not to tell the public. So if I allow myself to do that. "That's all I've ever done since I was 15, so it's my life".

Last year, she was forced to cancel her tour after learning she had "breast cancer that [had] metastasised to the sacrum".

However, she has now revealed that doctors have discovered a tumour at the base of her spine. She's now facing her third cancer battle. "I see it as part of my mission maybe".

"Olivia has chosen to dismiss conventional cancer medicines, opting instead for natural remedies and marijuana, grown by her husband in a state where it's legal". She's cut sugar out of her diet entirely, and is also taking cannabis oil for her pain.

"A lot of cannabis, my husband grows for me", she said.

"He makes me tinctures. It's hard to say - they help with pain", Newton-John noted. They help with sleep.

"I'm one of millions in this fight.in this journey", she added. "My dream is that, in Australia soon, it will be available to all the cancer patients and people going through cancer that causes pain", she told Sunday Night. "There are other people out there doing much, much worse than me". I'm a very privileged person, and I'm very aware of that, ' she stated.

Newton-John was one of the most successful vocalists of the 1970s, racking up country-pop and soft rock hits like "I Honestly Love You" and "Let Me Be There".

"I feel so fortunate to have had the success I've had, and to do the wonderful things I do", she continued.
