US First Lady, Melania Trump, has arrived in Ghana as part of her extended solo global mission to Ghana.

A relaxed-looking Trump smiled and waved as she stepped off an overnight flight from Washington to be met on the red carpet by her Ghanaian counterpart Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

"Whether it is education, drug addiction, hunger, online safety or bullying, poverty or disease, it is too often children who are hit first, and hardest, across the globe", Mrs Trump said prior to this visit.

The first lady then visited a newly constructed wing of the hospital to visit babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. The items carried the logo of "Be Best", the child well-being initiative Mrs. Trump launched last May.

She'll also be implementing her Be Best program aimed at tackling cyberbullying, which is just really ironic considering she lives with the biggest cyberbully in the world. The two women traded gifts: a White House tray in a signed leather case for Akufo-Addo and a Kente cloth and artifacts for Trump.

Facebook's worst-ever security breach hammers user trust
Facebook replied, saying it is "co-operating fully" and will share more information "as soon as we have it". Around 50 million Facebook account has already been affected and almost 40 million are at risk.

There's an overall sense of skepticism that exists around her trip and her motivations-and rightfully so. Check it out below to hear what folks from Ghana, Egypt and Kenya had to say.

Other locals said they knew about the visit but didn't know what Mrs. Trump was doing. She was welcomed at the airport with dancing and drumming, schoolchildren waving mini USA and Ghanaian flags and the gift of a flower bouquet.

She has previously travelled alone to Canada and joined her husband on several foreign visits.

Now, Melania Trump is in Ghana to "educate herself on the issues facing children on the African continent" while children of immigrants including Africans are being kept in cages by her husband without any remorse.
