  • Russia Claims Someone Deliberately Sabotaged The International Space Station

Although the space agency says it accepts Roscosmos' findings that the hole may have been made from the inside - and even possibly by drilling - they don't believe American astronauts worked to undermine global cooperation in space by killing everyone on board the ISS.

After a recent report where a Russian space agency official claimed that the hole found on the International Space Station in August was created intentionally, NASA released a statement saying the cause is still being investigated.

The Soyuz MS-08 carrying Russia's Oleg Artemyev and NASA 's Drew Feustel and Ricky Arnold touched down at 5.44 p.m.

The spacewalkers also replaced components of the space station's cooling system and communications network, and installed new wireless communication antennas for external experiments.

NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin are scheduled to launch Thursday, Oct. 11 for a same-day arrival, adding to the crew of Expedition 57.

He also wrote "spasibo" (thank you) and signed his name on the craft in chalk. "It concluded that a manufacturing defect had been ruled out which is important to establish the truth", said the man who leads the nation's space agency.

Another astronaut and cosmonaut are due to join the space station crew this month. They went into orbit in March and were there for 197 days.

In a NASA video, Arnold revealed that fellow educator McAuliffe's death in an explosion just over a minute after the challenger crew blasted off was one of the things that prompted him to take up teaching.
