China, Russia listening to Trump's cell phone calls

  • Chinese and Russian spies are listening in on President Donald Trump's phone calls according to a New York Times report

After a claim that Donald Trump's aides fear that Russian Federation and China may be eavesdropping on the U.S. president's iPhone, Beijing suggested Trump should buy a Chinese device.

China has jokingly suggested that US President Donald Trump should swap his Apple iPhone for a Chinese model, after denying a report claiming Beijing was bugging his private calls.

"Seeing this report, I feel there are those in America who are working all-out to win the Oscar for best screenplay", said Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying, as cited by the South China Morning Post. Story is soooo wrong!'

Aides have warned the president "repeatedly" that his cellphone calls are not secure, and have told him Russian spies are eavesdropping too, the Times said.

In fact, the Times cites current and past officials who state that through sources inside foreign governments and from intercepted communications, they know that China and Russian Federation are listening in to the president's conversations.

Trump reportedly has three iPhones, but only two of them are equipped with security features that have been added by the National Security Agency - one of the secure phones is strictly intended for tweeting, and only over Wi-Fi networks.

"Last year, Mr. Trump's cellphone was left behind in a golf cart at his club in Bedminster, N.J., causing a scramble to locate it", the report said, citing two anonymous sources "familiar with what took place".

World Series tickets available for games at Dodger Stadium
The Red Sox won this game by four runs, but mere inches gave them three or four of those runs. "We stuck to it", Benintendi said. Left-hander Clayton Kershaw , the Dodgers' Game 1 starter, was a logical matchup for Nuñez, a right-handed hitter.

But hours later, he revisited the topic, calling his use of cellphones rare and in any case "government authorized".

The New York Times published a fictional essay fantasizing about President Trump getting assassinated the same week that explosive devices were sent to prominent political figures across the country.

Trump calls it fake news. I like Hard Lines.

US President Donald Trump talks on the phone aboard Air Force One during a flight to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to address a joint gathering of House and Senate Republicans on January 26, 2017.

Amusingly the Chinese authorities have said that Trump should not mess around with overpriced and insecure Apple gear and should be using something more secure like a Huawei.

It does appear that the president is not taking the issue of secure conversations seriously.
