  • Trump blows up at Jim Acosta

"We stand by our statement", Sanders said in a statement.

Nanjiani also accused Sanders of tweeting a "doctored" video.

When Acosta attempted to return to the White House later on in the day, he was instructed by a secret service member to hand over his press credentials.

Acosta and CNN responded by refuting the claim that he placed his hands on the staffer, using photo evidence as proof.

At the press conference, Acosta had been repeatedly challenging the president's characterization of a Central American migrant caravan as an invasion.

The exchange came during a White House press conference on the 2018 midterm elections, in which Trump called out failed Republican candidates who didn't "embrace" him. "The intern reached over Acosta to grab the microphone while he was trying to ask another q and Acosta tried to pull away", Haberman wrote.

At the press conference, President Trump called Mr Acosta a "rude, awful person" after the reporter challenged his recent assertions about a migrant caravan heading to the United States from Central America.

Meanwhile, revoking Acosta's "hard pass" apparently is a dream come true for Trump. "And if you did it well, your ratings would be much better". Acosta has been addressing tough questions to both the president and his press secretary for almost two years.

Acosta told CNN's Anderson Cooper on Wednesday that he did not "put my hands on her or touch her as they're alleging".

Boeing said the "angle of attack" sensor, which identifies if a plane is about to stall, was faulty on the doomed flight. Pramintohadi Sukarno, the Ministry of Transportation's acting director general for air transportation, said Flight No.

Acosta has frequently clashed with Sanders during the White House's irregular news briefings and with Trump in televised news conferences.

"In an explanation, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders lied", the network said. "The way you treat Sarah Huckabee [Sanders] is disgusting". Wait. You know why we need the people?

"Pardon me, ma'am", Acosta quickly said.

CNN have since defended the reporter and praised others for standing up for themselves during the tense exchange.

However, this wound Trump up even more and he ended up saying he wasn't a huge fan of Alexander either.

Acosta has been one of the most outspoken reporters covering the administration since Trump took office. It shows Acosta harshly tugging away the microphone. "It's so sad", Trump said.

"Look, Barack Obama in effect, declared war on Fox News at one point", Wallace added.

Matt Dornic, the vice president of communications for CNN, went as far as to accuse the White House of doctoring the video. They are not only unsafe, the are disturbingly un-American.
