Two calendar quarters after a company sells 200,000 electric vehicles in the U.S., the tax credit begins to phase out. As a result, the federal tax vehicle will be cut 50 percent to $3,750 for vehicles delivered January 1 to June 30, 2019, before behing halved again on July 1.

Tesla customers generally place an order, then wait for a delivery time which could be days or weeks in the future.

Earlier this year, Tesla said orders for cars placed by October 15 would be delivered by December 31, the federal government's expiration date for a $7,500 electric vehicle tax credit.

According to the map, charging station Tesla Supercharger will appear in Radivilov of Rivne region and on the outskirts of Zhitomir.

Musk said on Saturday that Tesla would reimburse customers for the lost portion of the tax credit if they were told they would receive their vehicles by the end of 2018 and delivery is delayed until 2019.

It's unclear how many vehicles this would apply to, since the customer would need to have received a promise of 2018 delivery and also made a good-faith effort to receive the auto. " At the same day, Musk had been quoted saying that, the company should be able to deliver all orders ranging from Model 3 to mass market Sedan, by the end of the year".

Etna eruption shakes Sicily and blows ash plume into sky
A new, 2-kilometre (1.25 mile) fissure opened up Monday on a stretch of uninhabited slope near Mount Etna's southeast crater. Volcanic ash had covered nearby villages, and flights to and from Catania airport had to be halted temporarily.

Lastly, you may remember that Elon Musk sent an email to Tesla employees this past November wherein he said that the goal is for Model 3 production to hit 7,000 units per week by the end of November.

Deliveries in Europe, Musk said, could reach "significant" levels in late February or March, possibly moderating their effect on first-quarter numbers.

On its website of China, Tesla the electric auto maker stated on Wednesday that for the certain specific Model 3 sedan the company has dropped the prices by nearly 7.6 percent.

"Most people don't know that the Tesla Supercharger network makes it easy to travel long distance across the US, most of Europe, Canada and China", wrote Musk and added to the post map of the network of Supercharger stations.

Looking ahead to the next year, analyst Dan Ives believes that Model 3 demand remains robust and that consumers are growing more interested in the mass market EV as demand for bulkier cars like SUVs slows down.
