Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's cancer surgery and ongoing recuperation has cast an atmosphere of uncertainty over the Supreme Court at a critical time for its future and as the legal fate of several controversial White House policies hang in the balance... Ginsburg was discharged from a NY hospital on Christmas day after having two cancerous growths removed from her left lung.

"Post-surgery evaluation indicates no evidence of remaining disease, and no further treatment is required", she added. Ginsburg is recovering at home after surgery to remove cancer. But she's keen to emphasize that a few details in the movie are fictional - particularly the scene where she flubs her opening argument in a big case.

The nodules were found after Ginsburg fell, breaking three ribs, in November.

Justice Ginsburg had a minimum estimated net worth of more than $4 million in 2016, according to an analysis of disclosure forms by The Center for Public Integrity. Widely viewed as tenaciously willing to hang on with a Republican in the presidency, Ginsburg's own affirmations suggest she may view competency to conduct the court's business as a matter that rivals the court's ideological makeup in importance. The justices will next be on the bench on February 19, when they are due to hear a contentious case arising from President Donald Trump's administration's decision to include a citizenship question in the 2020 census.

The court's oldest justice, Ginsburg - fondly known as "The Notorious RBG", a riff on slain rapper The Notorious B.I.G. - is a liberal stalwart who has said she will not retire as long as she feels she can do the work.

Furthermore, doctors have determined that Justice Ginsburg has no remaining signs of cancer.

'I wish her well. "She said something very inappropriate during the campaign, but she apologized for it", he told reporters in November.

Meanwhile, the White House is reportedly preparing for RBG's departure.
