The sister of Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala who died in a plane crash two weeks ago has shared a heartbreaking tribute online.
The plane was carrying Cardiff City's new striker Sala, 28, and Mr Ibbotson, from Crowle, Lincolnshire, to Cardiff on 21 January after the footballer returned to FC Nantes to say goodbye to his former teammates.
The plane was found mostly intact, despite Mr Mearns expecting a "debris field", and one body was visible in footage captured by a submersible.
"I've been in touch with Emiliano's family and they desperately want the aircraft recovered", shipwreck hunter David Mearns, who led the £300,000 GoFundMe search, said.
Authorities are now rushing to recover the body that was spotted in the seabed wreckage.
Ibbotson, 59, had been hired to fly Sala to and from the French town over the weekend as he prepared for his new life in Cardiff.
"It's imperative that the plane is recovered, and now even more so now we know someone is down there", Mearns said.
Speaking publicly on January 28 for the first time since it emerged that Sala was on board the plane, Cardiff manager Neil Warnock said he had considered retiring during "by far the most hard week in my career by an absolute mile".

"As agreed with the Air Accident Investigation Branch they moved the [Offshore supply ship] GEO OCEAN III over the position we provided them to visually identify the plane by remotely-operated vehicle".
An official search was called off on January 24 but more than $535,000 was raised by football stars including Lionel Messi to fund a private search.
"We are informing them every step of the way what's going on and they are making it clear to us what their priorities are at all times", he added (via the Daily Mail).
"We can think that the plane did not make a fall, but rather that the pilot, perhaps following the engine stop, tried to land, which is obviously very hard to do", he told Bouchard.
Back in his Midhurst office on Tuesday after the high profile operation, the director of the Rumbolds Hill based Blue Water Recoveries said he had not been surprised to find the plane so quickly.
"I said to my wife before I left that I thought we could do it in about two hours". The AAIB has got to investigate it...
Cardiff manager Neil Warnock said Sala would have been "really proud" of the team after they won 2-0 in their first home match since the plane vanished.
