When the Steelers missed the playoffs, Brown trolled the team from social media saying alluding to the fact that he wanted out of town and potentially even wanted to play for the San Francisco 49ers.

That receiver is Antonio Brown and although he's under contract with the Steelers, Brown's status in Pittsburgh has become one of the biggest mysteries heading into the start of free agency.

Brown's offseason shenanigans appear to have just been an appetizer to this point, though, as the 30-year-old wide receiver made the world do a double take Tuesday when he said goodbye to Steelers fans with an odd video on Twitter.

Brown is entering the third of year of a five-year $72.7 million contract with the Steelers. The player's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said he had expressed his client's "position" to the team but did not elaborate. He was not seen as a star coming out of college and seemed nearly an after-thought when he was drafted in the sixth-round by the Steelers in the 2010 draft.

The NFL wide receiver was cited after being pulled over for driving in excess of 100 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone on McKnight Road in Ross Township back on November 8, 2018. On Tuesday, he was found guilty of reckless driving after failing to show up in court, ESPN reported. Since then, he has recorded more than 1,000 yards receiving in seven of his nine seasons in the league.

It has also emerged Brown was hit with two lawsuits in October for an incident that allegedly occurred at his South Florida high-rise last April.
