George Foreman shares tribute to late daughter Freeda

Police officials are investigating the death of retired boxing champ George Foreman's daughter as an apparent suicide. She's With her maker now.10 kids forever.

She was 42-years-young.

Law enforcement tells TMZ that Freeda's body was found in her home near Houston by a family member. However, as KTRK reports, the cause of her death are unclear at this time.

He began by recalling how Freeda had wanted to follow in his footsteps as a boxer, quoting her telling him, "Daddy I want to box". She fought professionally for 17 months in 2000-01 and her career ended with a 5-1 record.

Freeda, who was 42 at the time of her death, had two daughters, a husband, and three grandchildren. All of her brothers are named George, and Freeda's middle name was George, too.

According to TMZ, "Her parents also didn't enjoy her being in the ring ... so George reportedly paid her to quit".

Mr. Foreman, the two-time heavyweight champion, confirmed the news on his Twitter page, writing a heartfelt tribute to his beloved daughter detailing her accomplishments. He gained another level of fame as spokesman for the George Foreman Grill.
