  • Report: Bills ink receivers Brown, Beasley

Not Antonio Brown, but rather John Brown.

Beasley will reportedly join the Bills on a four-year deal for $29 million.

Prior to Baltimore, Brown spent the first four seasons of his National Football League career with the Arizona Cardinals.

The Bills' leading receiver last year was second-year player Zay Jones, who posted 56 receptions, 652 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Bills on Tuesday also agreed to terms with Cole Beasley, the productive slot receiver of the Dallas Cowboys for the past seven seasons.

Brown offers Bills franchise quarterback Josh Allen a dependable, versatile and experienced pass catcher. While the move was made to better the team, it was not made to better the passing attack. He's durable (missing only three games since 2013), usually sure-handed and has been good for 3-5 touchdowns per season since 2014.

The NFL Network was the first to report that Beasley is set to ink contract worth $29 million over the next four seasons. They reportedly did pursue him, but he eventually chose to go to Baltimore on a one-year contract, betting on himself to get an even bigger and better deal this offseason. He was signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
