Russell Westbrook was seen on camera shouting expletives at a fan during Monday's game against the Jazz in Salt Lake City.

Reports have indicated that the Jazz issued warning cards to fans involved in altercations with Westbrook during the game.

Then apparently addressing the fan again, he said, "I promise you, everything I love. You and your wife!"

"I promise you. You think I'm playing". You and your wife.

NBA Twitter discovered Keisel's Twitter account which had previously disparaged Westbrook and has made other racist statements in the past. "For me, that's completely disrespectful". "I just think there's got to be something done".

That night, Westbrook slapped at a fan's cellphone as he walked to the tunnel following the Thunder's loss after scoring 46 points on 43 shots.

Westbrook said after the game that the National Basketball Association needed to do a better job policing the fans that attend games and yell things at players. Westbrook could be heard repeatedly saying, "I'll f*ck you up!"

'Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy and play the game in a safe, positive and inclusive environment, ' said Steve Starks, president of the Utah Jazz.

The Utah Jazz have now issued a lifetime ban for that fan. I never been in any trouble. I've never been in any trouble or fought a fan. I've been in the league 11 years - clean slate, humble. Humble. I take all the criticism from everybody. I take all the criticism from everybody. "There's got to be some consequences for those types of people". They talk about your kids, families and it's just a disrespect to the game and I think it's something that needs to be brought up. Given the organization's track record, I fully expect they'll do so.

The fan, Shane Keisel, said earlier Tuesday he would file a lawsuit against Westbrook, claiming he has received death threats and that his comments weren't racist, according to KSL TV. Everybody in the vicinity will say that. "She never got up". Hands in her lap. Keisel said the exchange "started off as fun" with him yelling at Westbrook to "ice those knees up!"

'Initially I was like: "Oh, I'm talking with Westbrook, the guy's one of the greats".

"He can threaten me all he wants, but don't threaten a woman", he said. She's 5 feet tall and 110 pounds, man. Never said a word to him.
