  • Another Oppo Reno patent shows three-camera rear setup

Today OPPO have taken the wraps off that were still laid on their new Reno line of phones with a few surprises and a lot of what we already expected. Apart from announcing the device, the company hasn't revealed much details. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar to know more about the OPPO's first 5G smartphone. The 5G Reno will be out later in the year. As for their rear cameras, it depends on which variant you prefer. All the rear camera lenses and logo are along the back of the phone, aiding in its aesthetics. It has a 10x lossless optical hybrid zoom lens creating some fantastic photos.

As for the camera array here, there's the same 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP secondary sensor and a third 13 MP 10X lossless zoom-capable telephoto lens. on the front though, there's the same 16 MP selfie camera. The periscope lens and the 48MP lens both have OIS to help create a stable super zoom picture. The camera will also have an Ultra Clear Night View 2.0 mode for better low light photography. Not only that, but the phone also has a pop-up segment which houses the front-facing selfie camera, earpiece as well as other sensors that hides when not in use. Flipping out only 11 degrees in 0.8 seconds OPPO say that the sliding is elegant with a great design sense.

Similar to the Oppo Find X, the device features an edge-to-edge full-screen display that has no notches or punch-holes.

Comes standard with an in-display fingerprint scanner, the Reno 10x Zoom also comes with a slightly larger display at 6.65-inch as compared to the standard Reno which is equipped with 6.4-inch display although both devices utilize Full HD AMOLED panels. We're hearing that resolution is set at 1,080 x 2,340 and that the display will be protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 6. Well, except for the gaming smartphones that have higher clock speeds.

The OPPO Reno standard version will retail for 2999 yuan for the 6GB/128GB version, 3299 yuan for the 6GB/256GB version and 3599 yuan (AU$724) for the 8GB/256GB verison.

Unlike the 10x Zoom Edition, the OPPO Reno sports 48MP+8MP dual camera setup on the rear with LED flash, Smart HDR, PDAF, and more.
